Shimla, March 5 -- Congress candidate Anurag Sharma on Thursday filed his nomination papers for the upcoming Rajya Sabha election from Himachal Pradesh at the State Assembly complex in Shimla in Himachal Pradesh.
Sharma submitted his nomination before the Returning Officer in the presence of senior leaders of the Indian National Congress, including Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, and several Cabinet ministers and MLAs of the ruling party.
Party leaders described the moment as a show of unity ahead of the election.
