New Delhi, Nov. 21 -- Vikrant Bhuria, Chairman of the Adivasi Congress, on Friday accused the Madhya Pradesh government of exploiting tribal communities and prioritizing industrial interests over tribal welfare.

While addressing a press conference at Indira Bhavan, Bhuria criticized the BJP-led Madhya Pradesh government, highlighting that despite the state having nearly two crore tribal residents, not a single tribal candidate qualified in the 2022 Civil Judge examination.

He pointed out that 121 seats were reserved for tribals, yet none were filled. "Since 2021, not a single tribal candidate has been selected. As per rules, vacant seats are moved to the open category, showing a clear intent to end reservations," he alleged.
