Thiruvananthapuram, April 1 -- AICC General Secretary and MP, K. C. Venugopal has asserted that the Congress will strongly oppose the proposed amendment to the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA) and will not allow it to be passed in Parliament.
He said Congress MPs have been directed to urgently reach Delhi and participate in the ongoing Parliament session, as the Centre is preparing to introduce the bill.
According to Venugopal, the timing of the move-when MPs from election-bound states are engaged in campaign activities-raises serious concerns.
