Bengaluru, Jan. 31 -- Opposition Leader in the Legislative Council, Chaluvaadi Narayanaswamy, on Saturday criticised Congress for opposing the "Vikasit Bharat Guarantee Rozgar Ajeevika Mission" (VB G RAM G), alleging that the party has consistently resisted initiatives associated with Hindutva and Lord Ram.

He added that a special session of the Council was convened solely to debate and oppose the scheme.

Speaking at a press conference, Narayanaswamy said the "Vikasit Bharat Guarantee Rozgar Ajeevika Mission" essentially refers to Lord Ram and represents a form of his manifestation.
