Bengaluru, Jan. 29 -- BJP State President and MLA Vijayendra Yediyurappa on Thursday criticised the Congress government in Karnataka for releasing what he termed as advertisements "filled entirely with false information," alleging misuse of taxpayers' money to incite people against the Central Government.

Speaking to the media here, Vijayendra said the BJP would not have objected had the Congress party issued such advertisements using its own party funds. "But misusing state taxpayers' money to spread falsehoods and provoke people against the Central Government is an unpardonable crime," he charged, accusing the Congress government of lacking "shame and dignity."He strongly opposed the state government publishing front-page advertisements ...
