Sambhajinagar, Jan. 30 -- Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee president Harshvardhan Sapkal on Friday expressed confidence that the Congress would achieve good results in the upcoming Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti elections, citing the party's recent performance in municipal and municipal corporation polls and the "growing trust" shown by voters across the state.
Speaking to reporters during his visit to Dharashiv for campaigning ahead of the Zilla Parishad elections, Sapkal said that alliance politics had been in place at both the state and national levels since 1999, and that coalition politics often requires compromise and flexibility.
