New Delhi, July 5 -- The Congress today dismissed the video showing Rahul Gandhi's photo on a sanitary pad packet as "fake" and warned of legal action is being initiated against those responsible for circulating it.
In a video message, Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate accused the BJP and its supporters of circulating the "fabricated video".
"It is deeply disturbing that the BJP and its ecosystem have stooped so low as to spread misinformation on a serious health issue like menstrual hygiene. Sanitary pads play a crucial role in safeguarding women's health, preventing infections, and ensuring dignity during menstruation," the Congress leader said.
