Mumbai, March 11 -- Confusion surfaced in the municipal administration after a letter from the Mayor regarding transfer of engineers came to light, even as the Chief Minister's stay order on the transfers remains in effect.
Earlier, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had temporarily halted the implementation of the transfer orders following complaints raised during the administrator's tenure. However, Mayor Ritu Tawde has now written to Additional Municipal Commissioner Avinash Dhakane, directing the administration to take action regarding the implementation of the transfer orders.
