Bengaluru, Jan. 30 -- CJ Roy, Chairman and owner of the Confident Group, was found dead at his office in Bengaluru on Friday in a case that police have described as a suspected suicide.
The incident occurred within the limits of Ashok Nagar police station. Bengaluru City Police Commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh said preliminary information suggests that Roy allegedly shot himself at his office premises. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead.
The Scene of Crime Officer (SOCO) team and the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team conducted an examination at the spot. Police said further investigation is underway and more details are awaited.
