Bogota, Nov. 8 -- Colombia manager Nestor Lorenzo named uncapped midfielder Gustavo Puerta in his squad for soccer friendlies against New Zealand and Australia.
Puerta, who plays for Spanish second-tier club Racing Santander, has been an unused substitute on four occasions since earning his first international call-up for World Cup qualifiers in June.
As expected, Lorenzo also included Crystal Palace defender Daniel Munoz, Bayern Munich winger Luis Diaz and Leon midfielder James Rodriguez in his 26-man squad.
Colombia will meet New Zealand in Fort Lauderdale on November 15 and Australia in New York three days later.
