Lucknow, Nov. 5 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today paid tribute to renowned folk singer Sharda Sinha and legendary musician Bhupen Hazarika on their death anniversary.
In his message, the CM said, "Humble tributes to renowned folk singer, Padma Vibhushan Dr Sharda Sinha ji on her death anniversary!"He said that her voice embodied the rhythm of folk life and the compassion of the people. "Her melodious voice established many folk languages and folk culture, including Maithili and Bhojpuri, in the hearts of the people. Her musical spirit will always remain alive in our memories," he said.
