Nagpur, Oct. 10 -- Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Thursday visited hospitals in Nagpur to inquire about the health of children undergoing treatment following consumption of Coldrif cough syrup .

The syrup, Coldrif, manufactured by Tamil Nadu-based Sresan Pharmaceuticals, has been linked to the deaths of 22 children, mainly from Madya Pradesh and Chhindwara districts, reportedly due to multi-organs failure.

CM Yadav visited AIIMS, New Health City Hospital and Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), meeting families of the affected children.

He assured full support from the Madhya Pradesh government and directed officials to closely monitor the children's treatment.
