Chennai, March 1 -- It was celebration time for the ruling DMK functionaries and cadre, as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and Party President M K Stalin turned 73 on Sunday, even as Governor R N Ravi and leaders of various political parties, including alliance leaders, extended their birthday greetings to him.
Mr Stalin, accompanied by his son and Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, Ministers, MPs, MLAs and senior party leaders began the day by paying floral tributes at the memorials of DMK Founder and Stalwart C N Annadurai, popularly called as 'Anna' (elder brother) and DMK Patriarch M Karunanidhi--both former Chief Ministers--on the Marina beach front.
