Patna, April 26 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Sunday expressed deep grief over the death of three persons due to lightning strikes in Katihar district and announced an ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh each for the families of the deceased.
The Chief Minister directed officials to ensure immediate disbursement of the compensation to the next of kin and said that the state government stands firmly with the affected families in this hour of crisis.
