Chandigarh, May 3 -- Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday launched a scathing attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Congress while addressing an 'OBC Sammelan' in Ropar, Punjab.

Expressing deep concern over the current state of affairs in Punjab, Saini asserted that the citizens of the state are seeking liberation from what he termed systemic corruption and persistent misgovernance.

In a direct offensive against the ruling dispensation, the Haryana Chief Minister alleged that AAP legislators in Punjab are deeply embroiled in corruption, which has brought developmental activities to a virtual standstill.
