Hyderabad, April 5 -- A high-level Sports Hub Board meeting was held at a hotel in Banjara Hills on Sunday, with Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy outlining an ambitious roadmap to transform Gachibowli Stadium into a global-standard sports venue.
The meeting was attended by board members including Konidela Upasana, Kavya Maran, Sanjiv Goenka, senior officials, and Sports MD Sony Bala Devi.
Addressing the board, the Chief Minister said his vision is to position Hyderabad as a national model in sports infrastructure and development.
He announced that the foundation stone for the Gachibowli Stadium redevelopment project will be laid on June 2 and directed officials to prepare a detailed action plan ahead of the launch.
