Nirmal, April 6 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday laid the foundation stone for the redevelopment of the Goddess Sri Gnana Saraswathi Devi temple in Basara at an estimated cost of Rs 225 crore.

Earlier, the Chief Minister, along with his family, offered prayers at the famed Basara temple.

As per the official schedule, Revanth Reddy will later proceed to Pipri in Adilabad district, where he is expected to arrive at 1400 hours. He will lay foundation stones for various development projects in the region.

At 1400 hours, the Chief Minister will attend a public meeting in Pipri, where he is likely to address local issues and outline the government's development agenda for the district.
