New Delhi, March 16 -- In a special ceremony held at the Delhi Secretariat on Monday to mark the historic "Phool Walon Ki Sair" festival, the premises came alive with the sound of the Shehnai, with the celebration symbolizing the national capital's rich culture and Ganga-Jamuni ethos.
During the event, members of Anjuman Sair-e-Gul Faroshan extended a traditional welcome to Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. Accompanied by the live shehnai music, they honoured the CM by presenting the customary floral fan, which is a long-standing tradition associated with the festival.
The melodies filled the environment with vibrancy, and the spirit of Delhi's cultural legacy and communal harmony was reflected all around.
