Davos/Hyderabad, Jan. 21 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has proposed hosting an annual follow-up meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Hyderabad every July, saying the fast pace of global business demands quicker engagement beyond the annual Davos schedule.
Addressing global business leaders and policymakers at the 'Join The Rise' event hosted by the 'Telangana Rising' delegation in Davos on Tuesday night, the Chief Minister said one year is a long time for investment follow-ups in the current economic environment and urged WEF stakeholders to support the idea of a July or August forum in Hyderabad. The proposal reportedly received unanimous support from the participants.
