Hyderabad, March 23 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday handed over accident insurance cheques of Rs 1 crore each to the families of two Electricity Department employees who lost their lives while on duty, reaffirming the government's commitment to employee welfare.
The Chief Minister presented the cheques to the families of Orsu Suresh and Mukhtar Beg at the assembly premises.
Speaking on the occasion, he stated that the initiative was aimed at boosting the morale of employees and assuring their families of government support in times of crisis.
Reddy lauded Electricity Minister Bhatti Vikramarka for taking the initiative to support the families of the deceased, standing by them during difficult times.
