Mumbai, Feb. 10 -- Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray faction) MP Sanjay Raut on Tuesday remarked that the Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis "is compelled to consult union Home Minister Amit Shah while running the state administration".
In a chat with mediapersons, Raut alleged that the Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) and the Nationalist Congress Party led by Ajit Pawar-both partners in the ruling Mahayuti-were effectively "created" by Amit Shah. "Since these two parties are part of the state government, the Chief Minister has no option but to hold discussions with Amit Shah while taking key decisions," Raut claimed.
