Chennai, Aug. 22 -- The pioneering and flagship Chief Minister's Breakfast scheme for students of Classes 1 to 5 will be expanded to state-aidedschools in Urban areas on August 26 in Chennai city.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin will launch the expansion of this revolutionary scheme in the presence ofhis Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann who will take part in the function as a chief guest, an official release said.
The expansion of the scheme, which was launched in Madurai by Mr Stalin for the first time in India on Septemebr 15, 2022 andreceived overwhelming response from the parents and students, will benefit 3.05 lakh more students in state-aidedschools in urban areas.
