Chandigarh, Jan. 30 -- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Friday presided over a state-level function at the Punjab Armed Police (PAP) complex and distributed scholarships to students under the Post-Matric Scholarship scheme.
Emphasising the transformative power of education, the Chief Minister said his government is committed to illuminating the lives of children from weaker sections, fulfilling the vision of Dr B.R. Ambedkar.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister highlighted a 35 per cent increase in the number of scholarship beneficiaries under the current administration.
