New Delhi, Jan. 6 -- A petition has been filed before the Supreme Court alleging leakage of the question paper and answer key of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026, conducted on December 7, and seeking a court-monitored, time-bound investigation into the matter.

The plea contends that the alleged leak compromised the fairness and integrity of the national-level entrance examination for admissions to National Law Universities (NLUs) across the country.

It claims that the question paper and answers were circulated prior to the commencement of the examination, thereby giving certain candidates an unfair advantage.
