Kolkata, Jan. 19 -- Aiming to strengthen coastal security, augment national unity and ensure greater public participation, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) would launch its nationwide initiative "CISF Vande Mataram Coastal Cyclothon-2026", beginning January 28 from Bakkhali in West Bengal's South 24 Parganas district, an official said on Monday.
Addressing a media meet at the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport here, CISF Inspector General Mr Shikhar Sahai said the second edition of the awareness campaign would be virtually flagged off by union Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai, from the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in New Delhi.
