New Delhi, Jan. 19 -- The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) will undertake fresh Port Facility Security Assessments (PFSA) and prepare Port Facility Security Plans (PFSP) for all the EXIM ports handling the international trade of goods and services, as directed by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways.

This is going to happen as the government has designated the CISF as the Recognised Security Organisation (RSO) for port security under the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code, and the CAPF will be undertaking the works as part of the mandate.
