Puri, May 29 -- Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Thursday launched the Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan, a 15-day nationwide campaign, from Sakhigopal in Puri aimed at ensuring that the country's food reserves remain full.

Speaking at the launch event alongside Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Chouhan urged farmers to actively participate in the campaign.

He said the initiative would promote modern agricultural technologies, awareness of government schemes, soil health, and natural farming.
