Dhaka, Dec. 1 -- A high-level delegation of Chinese medical specialists has arrived in Dhaka to support the treatment of BNP Chairperson and former PM Khaleda Zia, who remains in critical condition, currently still remaining in the ICU at Evercare Hospital, party sources confirmed on Dec 1.
According to a senior BNP official, the delegation comprises five to six experts dispatched on behalf of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Party leaders had earlier said that China had expressed willingness to send a medical team, noting that specialists from several countries had been monitoring Khaleda's condition remotely in recent days.
