Beijing, Feb. 14 -- Beijing welcomes all efforts directed toward peaceful negotiations to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has said, as quoted by the Chinese Foreign Ministry on Friday.
On Thursday, Wang co-chaired the 10th China-UK Strategic Dialogue in London alongside UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy. The two sides "exchanged in-depth views on the Ukrainian crisis" during the talks, the ministry said.
"China welcomes all efforts toward peaceful negotiations and supports the establishment of a balanced, effective, and sustainable European security architecture to ultimately ensure long-term peace and stability in Europe," the ministry quoted Wang as saying.
