Ranchi, Dec. 23 -- Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday held a high-level review meeting at the Jharkhand Secretariat regarding the establishment of the state's first medical university, the Jharkhand University of Health Sciences under the Jharkhand Health Sciences University Act, 2023.
The meeting was attended by Health Minister Irfan Ansari, Chief Secretary Avinash Kumar, and Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Ajay Kumar Singh.
Reviewing the steps taken so far, the Chief Minister issued key directions to expedite all necessary procedures to make the medical university operational at the earliest.
