New Delhi, Nov. 26 -- In an unprecedented and historic development, Chief Justices from Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Kenya, and Mauritius, along with a judge of the Supreme Court of Nepal, joined Chief Justice of India Surya Kant on the bench on Wednesday to witness Supreme Court proceedings for a brief period.

The CJI warmly welcomed the visiting dignitaries, calling it a "historic occasion," while Solicitor General Tushar Mehta conveyed greetings on behalf of the Government of India.
