Raipur, March 14 -- To provide safety, shelter and care of stray and abandoned cows in the state, the Chhattisgarh government is set to start 'Gaudham Yojana'.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will launch this scheme on March 14, at the Auditorium of Guru Ghasidas Central University, Bilaspur District. During this programme, one of the 29 Gaudhams will be inaugurated at Village Lakhasar in Takhatpur, and the remaining 28 will be inaugurated virtually in 10 other districts of the state.

Agriculture and Livestock Development Minister Ramvichar Netam, Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Gauseva Commission, Visheshar Patel, and other local public representatives will also be present.
