Thiruvananthapuram, April 22 -- Senior Congress leader and MLA Ramesh Chennithala has written to union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu seeking urgent intervention to address the hardships faced by the Indian overseas community, particularly Keralites, amid rising tensions in the Middle East and a steep hike in international airfares.

In his letter, Chennithala highlighted that tens of thousands of Keralites employed in Gulf and other Middle Eastern countries are struggling to travel due to large-scale flight cancellations and soaring ticket prices.
