Chennai, Jan. 31 -- The officials of the Customs Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) foiled a majr HydroponicGanja smuggling bid, seized 10.75 kg of the contrand and arrested two passengers who arrived fromBangkok at the Anna International airport here.
A PIB release here today said, the AIU officers intercepted two Indian male passengers who arrivedfrom Bangkok by Thai Airways flight and on detailed examination of their checked-in baggage, theyrecovered 10.750 kg of green-coloured flowering/fruiting tops suspected to be Hydroponic Ganja.
They were ingeniously concealed in vacuum-sealed packets hidden inside chocolate pouches.
