Madgaon, Oct. 13 -- Singapore head coach Gavin Lee today admitted that his players were distraught after the last India versus Singapore AFC Asian Cup 2027 qualifier match and said that he advised his players to channel that regret towards a strong performance against India tomorrow.
"Don't waste that pain, remember it, don't lose it, use it as a fuel for the next match," Lee told his charges.
Lee was speaking about Singapore's home match against India on October 9 where they were leading until India capitalised on a defensive error to equalise in the 90th minute of the game.
