New Delhi, Sept. 25 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta today reviewed cleanliness at Chandni Chowk while she took part in the Shramdaan under the ongoing cleanliness service campaign.
Gupta told reporters that the historic area is part of Delhi's heritage, and during the festivals, the vibrancy of the religious places located here increases manifold.
CM directed the officials concerned to improve the overall cleanliness of the area.
Gupta noted that cleanliness and better maintenance become even more essential during the festive season, urging the locals that just as one keeps his or her home clean, similarly everyone should take responsibility to keep the markets and streets also clean.
