Shimla, Feb. 24 -- The Himachal Pradesh High Court on Tuesday issued notice to BJP MLA Hans Raj in a significant legal development as the victim in the Chamba POCSO case has approached the Court by filing a criminal miscellaneous petition against the accused MLA.
Senior Advocate B.L. Soni appearing on behalf of the petitioner along with Advocate Nitin Soni, confirmed to UNI that the High Court has issued notice in the matter. He stated that notice has been served to the State respondents, and the court has also now directed issuance of notice to the concerned private respondent, including the MLA.
