Chairperson Manipur Women Commission stresses women's Health as key to a healthy society

Imphal, Oct. 3 -- The Manipur State Commission for Women (MSCW), in collaboration with the Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM), Imphal West, organised a one day awareness programme on "Addressing Obesity, Women's Health & Wellness" today at Takyel Khongbal Lane No. 13 Community Hall.

Highlighting the significance of women's health, MSCW Chairperson Thumlip Tiningpham Monsang said that when a woman is hale and hearty, her family and community will also be in good condition.

Stressing that "health is wealth," she urged women to adopt healthy lifestyles and put into practice the knowledge shared during the programme.
