New Delhi, Jan. 27 -- With the Budget Session of Parliament set to commence on January 28, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju on Tuesday affirmed that the government remains open to suggestions from all political parties. Addressing a press conference after an all-party meeting chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Rijiju emphasised the importance of adhering to parliamentary rules and urged cooperation for the smooth functioning of the session.
"The government will always be happy to hear any suggestions," Rijiju told reporters. "As per the rules, the discussions should revolve around the Budget only. The President will address the joint session of Parliament at the beginning of the Budget Session. After that, a motion on vo...
