Nagpur, Dec. 9 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday announced in the State assembly that the union Government has approved the installation of a grand statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at the premises of Mumbai's iconic Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT).

The announcement came in response to a demand by Shiv Sena (UBT) legislator Bhaskar Jadhav, who highlighted that while the CSMT station is named after the legendary Maratha warrior king, there is currently no statue of him on the premises.
