Raipur, Feb. 8 -- The Centre's deadline to end Left Wing Extremism in Chhattisgarh moved into its final phase today as union Home Minister Amit Shah chaired a crucial high-level security meeting in Raipur.
The closed door review focused on intelligence inputs, operational progress and the remaining challenges in Maoist-affected districts. With barely seven weeks left before the March 31, 2026 cut off, officials described the meeting as a decisive strategic exercise.
