Shimla, Nov. 28 -- Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi said on Friday that despite Prime Minister Narendra Modi's announcement of Rs 1,500 crore in financial assistance for flood and rain-affected people of Himachal Pradesh, the state has not received any funds so far.

Responding to a joint question by MLAs Kewal Singh Pathania, Kuldeep Rathore, JR Katwal and Deep Raj, during the question hour in the State Legislative Assembly at Tapovan Dharamshala, he said that the Prime Minister visited Himachal on September 9 and announced this assistance package, which is yet to reach the state government.
