Patna, March 26 -- The Central government has released Rs 1,203.60 crore to Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) and Rural Local Bodies (RLBs) across Bihar for the financial year 2025-26, official sources said on Thursday.
Bihar's three-tier Panchayati Raj system has received Rs 1,203.60 crore as the second installment of tied grants. Additionally, Rs 2.09 crore has been released from the withheld portion of the first installment to three block panchayats and seven gram panchayats.
