New Delhi, Jan. 31 -- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Saurabh Bharadwaj on Friday accused the Central government of deliberately paralysing the elected government in Delhi for a decade.

The allegations were made in response to the recent suspension of Delhi Jal Board officials for negligence.

Bharadwaj, the AAP's Delhi State President, claimed the incident is a result of a systematic effort by the BJP-led Central government to hollow out the authority of Delhi's elected administration. He stated that by stripping away basic powers, the Modi administration turned governance into a daily struggle.
