Mumbai, March 22 -- To mark completion of 65 years of establishment of United Maharashtra, NCP (AP) state president Sunil Tatkare informed on Saturday that the 'Maharashtra Mahotsav' will be celebrated across the state.

A meeting of the heads of various fronts and cells of the party in the state was held on Friday at the party's state office.

On this occasion, Tatkare suggested to the state officials to organise the Maharashtra festival to introduce the glorious history of the state to the new generation.

Tatkare instructed to celebrate the formation of United Maharashtra on May one in all six divisions of the state, including Mumbai, in a grand manner.
