Bengaluru, April 7 -- On IPL ticket black marketing, Police Commissioner Seemant Kumar Singh said that reports had emerged of individuals selling match tickets online in the black market during the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) matches.
According to him, acting on these inputs, the Central Crime Branch (CCB) carried out a decoy operation. During the operation, authorities arrested 11 individuals involved in the illegal sale of tickets and recovered 28 tickets that were being sold at significantly inflated prices in the black market.
Earlier this season, CCB sleuths had also conducted similar drives and arrested multiple individuals involved in black marketing of tickets outside the M Chinnaswamy Stadium ahead of high-demand matches....
