New Delhi, April 14 -- The wait for lakhs of students awaiting Class 10 board exam results may end soon, with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) expected to declare the first phase results later this week, possibly as early as Wednesday. The Class 10 board examinations for 2026 were conducted between February 17 and March 11, with around 25 lakh students appearing for them.

Speculation over the announcement intensified after a post by DigiLocker, a government-backed cloud storage platform, on Monday urged students to activate their accounts in advance instead of waiting until result day.
