Bhubaneswar, Jan. 6 -- The Opposition Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Tuesday alleged that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probing the Odisha Police Sub-Inspector Recruitment Examination scam has made deliberate attempts to protect the influential people and corrupt officials involved in the job-for-cash scandal.
As per the preliminary charge sheet filed by the CBI, the premier probe agency has tried to conceal more facts than it has disclosed, BJD spokesperson and media coordinator Lenin Mohanty said today.
Though the CBI has submitted a preliminary charge sheet, it has been evident from the very beginning that the agency's approach has been to shield influential and powerful individuals.
