Shimla, March 7 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation has sought the assistance of former Shimla Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Gandhi in connection with the investigation into the death of former Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited Chief Engineer Vimal Negi.
According to official documents, CBI Deputy Superintendent of Police Brijendra Prasad Singh asked Gandhi to appear before the investigating officer at the CBI office in the CGO Complex at Lodhi Road in New Delhi.
The notice was issued on March 2 under Section 179 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita.
