Chandausi, Feb. 12 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested two officials of the Food Corporation of India (FCI) in Chandausi on charges of demanding and accepting a bribe from a private company, police confirmed on Thursday.
The arrested officials have been identified as Sunil Tyagi, Manager of the FCI depot, and Ashok Kumar, Assistant Grade-II (Depot In-Charge). Both were posted in Chandausi.
According to a CBI press release, the case was registered on February 11, 2026, following a complaint by a private firm operating in the region. The complainant had deposited 16 stacks of rice at the FCI Babrala depot and planned to deposit an additional eight stacks.
